Please note: Prescriptions and subsidies apply only to patients treated in Denmark. The prescription must be issued by a Danish region, municipality or hospital. If you live outside Denmark, please check with your local healthcare authority for support schemes in your country.

If you are undergoing chemotherapy and experiencing hair loss, you may be eligible for a subsidy for headwear through a prescription (medical voucher) from your hospital department or outpatient clinic. This means that the regional health authority covers part of the cost of your headwear – and you are free to choose where you wish to purchase it; you are not limited to the hospital’s list of suppliers.
